Ask if your doc will do as mine does Vicky and rotate the tramadol and dihydrocodeine every 3 months , it does help keep the edge of the pain. I did ask for gas & air but they wouldn't give it on prescription.

It does take a couple of weeks to get your BG's under control as your body needs to burn of all the fat ect. that is stored in your body it will come just be patient and keep doing what you are doing.

Have you had your B12 levels checked ? Low levels can cause tiredness and as already been advised a peek in BG's after a meal can also cause tiredness , once you have your test equipment you should get a better idea of what is happening
