    Type 2 Canderel and sweetener

i tried Canderel, but i hated the taste. i sometimes put a little cinnamon in my coffee. I've tried Goldsweet (aspartame based) and found that okay, but i only use a little. in spite of it claiming that 1 teaspoon of Goldsweet is equal to 1 teaspoon of sugar, I find it considerably sweeter...

    New one on me....

i switch off my attention as soon as there is any mention of "natural healing stones". they may work fine in World of Warcraft, but I've yet to see anyone grow a new leg by the use of magic crystals in real life. It's probably like those magnetic bangles that were supposed to cure...

    My patience just ran out.

Everybody is different. there is no magic formula that will work for everyone - each of us is unique, so what might work for me may not work for you. apart from avoiding sugar there is no one rule that is universal, so my best advice is experiment. try different foods and see what works for...

    Ice cream suggestions

can you get the licorice flavoured Majestics? the licorice coating actually brings blood sugar down. not easy to find though, as its not a very popular flavour. I find Iceland's Italiano to be quite diabetes friendly as long as you don't over-indulge.

    ice cream

i know this sounds unlikely, but can ice cream lower blood / sugar levels? after two weeks of getting BG readings between 9 and 13, yesterday I got a reading of 7.5, and today i got a reading of 7.0. i gave in to temptation and ate a banana for breakfast (bad, I know, but i'm weak), then had...

    Amazing & Awesome Avocados.

Even if they are a bit brown, you can still get away with using them to make guacamole. my local market stall was selling them at three for 50p this week because they were starting to turn, but still good.
