    New numbers today!

Well, today I have seen the 'next stone down' for the first time. That was nice. Then, my 'before' bg earlier was 4.5. Yes, 4.5. Down from 16.5 at diagnosis 4 weeks ago! Hurrah for new numbers! Sent from my iPad using DCUK Forum

I want my old eyes back!

Most of the T2 is okay to handle - I'm eating healthily, exercising and have lost 10lbs since being diagnosed two weeks ago. I'm even coping with Metformin. But my eyesight has gone :(. My laser corrected perfect vision is blurred and I have to wear reading glasses to see anything closer than...

Is this an expected pattern? Newly diagnosed and confused...

I'm very new - got an accu-chek mobile tester yesterday in order to try to get my T2 under control. Diagnosis levels were high H1a 91 and fbg 16.5. I am taking 500mg Metformin daily (to rise to 1500mg in three weeks) Today's results are confusing me: Fbg on waking: 15.8 2 hrs after breakfast...

Another new T2 on the block

Hi there, Diagnosed yesterday. T2, my H1a thingy was 91. Blood glucose was 16.5 (taken just before dinner). I'm a bit shocked. I'm obese, have been for a long time, but lived in denial. Now my world is upside down and it's too late. I'm taking metformin, been told to drastically change my...
