    Need help ordering test strips!

Hi everyone. I have gone to the homehealth to order test strips, but I cannot see where I add my discount code? It's just taken me straight to card details to fill in. Did I do something wrong?

    HBA1c Blood test

I have my second HCA blood test coming up next week but I can't remember if I have to fast for this one? Does anyone know? My first one was back in June, so a long time to recall what I had to do. I know it's a 9 0'clock appointment, so if I do need to fast it won't be too bad. Thanks in advance

    How unlucky

Last night, while hurriedly preparing dinner, (due to being late back from mum's) I dropped the hot pirex dish full of vegetables and it smashed to smithereens! Unbeknown to me .. a small shard of glass got into my slipper. It caused no problem, but, this morning I got up and slid on my slippers...

    Yeay!

For the first time since diagnosis ten months ago ... my blood glucose levels have not once gone above 8 all weekend! Today was even better than yesterday, and my highest reading during the whole of the day was 7.3 My only gripe ... well there has to be one ... is that I've put on just over 4lbs...

    Hi Everyone!

I have to say that most of the time I'm quite good at keeping my blood glucose levels in check but (naughty me) after my cheese omelette tonight, I gave in to a desire for a toffee apple steamed pudding. I did add fresh raspberries and double cream to it ... weak attempt to lesson the damage ...

Type 2 Battery life of BG Meter

I have only had my SD Codefree meter for a month, and some days have only used it at midday meal time (before and after) but I have just gone to test and the meter is dead! Is it normal for the battery to expire so quickly? I am rather shocked it's gone so soon :(

    Still confused by my readings

Watched the tv programme the other night about diabetes type 2 and it was mentioned on there about testing glucose levels two hours after the first mouthful of food. Yes ... I always ALWAYS used to do this, and get readings no more than 7.7 However I have since found out that my high spike is...

    Type 2 Okay ... so here's a point ..

My blood fasting readiing this morning was a little higher that usual at 6.9 ... and when I tested an hour after breakfast it was 8.3 ( my spikes are always within the first hour) So here's the thing ... if it only went up by so little, is that a good thing, or is it still too high? I realise...

    H E L P!

This has never happened to me before, but it's almost an hour after my lunch and I've just had a reading of only 3.0 Is this something to worry about? I feel fine but this has alarmed me as I've not ever had a low reading like this! Anyone know if I should be concerned? Thank you

Does just one bad day make a difference?

Hi everyone. As a newbie to the site I wish to introduce myself. I'm still coming to terms with now being a type two diabetic (shock ... horror) and have been pretty good over the last few months dietwise .. but then again I've ALWAYS eaten nuts, vegetables, fruit, plain yoghurts and a suger...
