    Sore finger joints

Can anybody give me some clues as to why the joints in my hands are sore, really sore. Is it too much water, not enough water, too much protein, old age or something else. I take one Metformin 500mg daily, eat LCHF, have lost around 14 pounds this year. No idea what's going on, any suggestions?

Very thirsty when I wake up.

When I wake up in the morning, I am super thirsty, although not as bad as before I was diagnosed. I am only a newbie, having been diagnosed early August. I am on Metformin morning and night, and have been following my Dr.s recommended diet, which I recently discovered here is rubbish. Next...

Are there any Australians here that can help me please?

I was diagnosed with Type 2 early August, and my Endocrinologist decided I didn't need a monitor, and put me on Metformin. However, I am so muddled with what I eat and how I feel, the only way that I can think of to see how I react to food is to test after meals. Sooo, what blood glucose...
