After using my meter for a week, my average is 7.1, not bad, but higher than I would like, aiming for 6.5 to 6.8

i was diagnosed 2 years ago with diabetes 2 and during my first year I cut out all the sugar, lost 3 stone in weight, but during my second year let things slip and got back on the sweet things, now in my 3rd year, got a meter, testing myself twice a day and now taking things seriously again...
