    Metformin question

    I was taking 1,000 mg metformin twice a day, my doctor switched me to metformin ER 1,000 mg once a day is it the same dose? Do you only need to take the ER once a day? does the ER work better?

    Someone told me that diabetics should have a flu shot and some kind of vaccine but I don't remember what it was. Dose anyone know if there any shots or vaccines diabetics should have because they are diabetics?

    I think I might have it under control!

    I was diagnosed on February 19th with diabetes and started meds and testing on February 20th with a daily average of 277 or 11.2 After almost 6 weeks of finding the right foods and some experimenting with my meds I am now at an average of 98 or 4.9!

    Produgy vs Onetouch

    Prodigy vs OneTouch? anyone use either one of these BS testing products? I was switching to Prodigy because the strips are a lot cheaper but the meters seam to get different readings when I do them at the same time and same blood sample.
