    I've read that eating grapefruit each day can help reduce insulin resistance and am keen to give it a go but hate fresh grapefruit. Would tinned (in own juice) or grapefruit juice work just as well?

    Night time hypos but high morning sugars

    I have recently been prescribed humalin and take 46 units before bedtime. I am regularly having night time sweats and hypos but then my sugars are high (around 9) in the morning. The dawn phenomenon seems to be an explanation but I have no idea how to manage this better. Any suggestions?
