    Accu-Chek Multiclix lancets

Hi, I put in my regular prescription for Accu-Check Multiclix lancets in early July and am still waiting for them to be supplied to my chemist. Has anyone had a similar supply problem with these lancets? The chemist says the issue is with the supplier, not his wholesaler, but he doesn't have...

    Exenatide once weekly injection

Hi, Does anyone know anything about the Exenatide once weekly injection as an alternative to Metformin for type 2 diabetes? I saw it advertised on various internet sites and wondered whether anyone had tried it? Is it available in the UK as an alternative to daily tablets like Metformin...

    A cure in our lifetimes?

How old were you when you were diagnosed

I was 41 and diagnosed while in hospital in March 2011. I suspect I had had it for a while though. When I was diagnosed my bs was 19.8 and my HA1C 11.5  I have better control now thanks to 4 x Metfomin a day, losing two stone (I still have four stone to go) and trying to behave...

High dose vitamins - anyone suggest good brands?

Hi, This is my first post so I hope I am posting in the right place. I had my first diabetic eye screen in December and the examiner said he could see some evidence of mild retinopathy but the results they sent my GP said everything was clear. I was a bit concerned about the initial...
