My mum is currently on holiday abroad with a new accu chek combo pump, she thought she had taken more than enough supplies, and spares. Some hope: background retinopathy

I am absolutely elated, this is why... I developed background retinopathy in 2010 after pregnancy. I was told (and read on here) that it could improve/reverse/disappear with good bg levels. But didnt quite believe it! I had my eye screening today (my 3 yr old was highly disappointed when there...

Tried on the 'full version' but any pic (from the 'choose existing' option. but have taken new pic too) seems too big to use. Is there a way to do this on the app? How can you reduce the pixel (or is it...

    Too many hypos

Hope someone can relate to this... I've been on a pump since August, and since fiddling around in the first few weeks & doing lots of adjustments, settled into a regime that worked for me. I don't really change the basal rates unless I notice a pattern and then I only tweak by 0.05u per hour...

    Standard deviation

Can anyone tell me what this is in a nutshell please? I'm using a pump (accu-chek combo) and think my swings from lo to high have reduced somewhat but I keep hearing about SD. My a1c is always fine but I've always felt this is due to too many hypos (in the quest for better levels). After 13...
