I am type 2 diet only no medication, is it ok to make and drink juice made with blueberries, strawberrys, rasberries etc made with a juicer or would there be to much natural sugar.
Bit disappointed my result was 46 6 months ago it was 44 before that 42 , I admit I have been not too strict with my diet like rasberry royal from M&S plus a bit of ice cream for desert but think now I must pull my finger out as not on meds yet, how many carbs should I look for as max. When...
I just caught the other night on BBC news it was scrolling across the bottom that 1.7 million test strips for glucose testing have been re called owing to them giving false readings, Did anyone see this and have you heard anything ?
Bit disapointed newly diagnosed, only had four, this one was 44, the others had been 43,42,41. I am a male aged 76
is that result anything to be concerned about ? and what have I been doing wrong to make it go up, I am at the moment on diet only.
I have been diagnosed for just over a year, when taking my blood test 2hrs. after a meal it is 7.5 if I am lucky but mostly 7.9 or 8.5 maybe higher,
However I have been taking L-Argi- 9 plus for one month and my readings after a meal has gone to never over 5.9 it is now always
5.4 to 5.5 even if...
I had 4 Jersey potatoes 1 Barnsley chop, Broccoli in Cheese sauce, followed by Luxury sherry trifle, 2 hours later my blood sugar was 7, I have been taking L-Arginene for about 2 weeks now and have noticed that my blood sugar is more under control, it says it can make the body produce insulin...
L Arginene 1.5grams per day, it seems to keep my blood sugar really low,the other day I had a large slice of ginger cream cake, very sweet after 1/1/2 hours my blood sugar was 6.3 and have noticed quite a few things where you would think its going to be 12 +
When I was diagnosed last year my glucose tolerance test result was 16 after the two hours resting, would that be classed as
Very high----High--- or not too bad.
When it says 12g carbohyrate per rice pudding of which are sugars 13 g what is the highest sugar content I should look for that we can cope with in foods???
When its said that raised blood sugar over a number of years can lead to organ damage etc. do they mean your blood sugar has to raised all the time for a year or too or does it mean if occasionally it go's up to ten or eleven when tested after two hours of eating
Can somebody illustrate to me how someone can live on 100g. of carbs per day, looking at my carb book it seems starvation is the only answer, I would like to know what they eat per day.
