VERY interesting listening. I an neither vegie nor vegan but will browse all sites looking for tasty stuff. Having learned about processed foods via T2, I have always been suspicious of "no meat" sausages and burgers. I was right, but so much more.....

Face to face with Neuro tomorrow

Wish me luck. I suspect the steroids will increase :( It is for the MG which seems to be deteriorating, big time, but I suspect that I will be back on the insulin sometime soon. Stay safe everyone.

Got a text today to say my latest hba1c is 45 up from 40 last time. I am reducing steroids. When I got to 10mg I stopped the humulin. Everything was fine for 2 weeks, then numbers started to climb. Reluctantly I went back on it. Now I am reducing by 1mg per month and I am reducing the...

    Not enough data yet

They keep dragging diabetes into the reports, 35 per cent was the last one I heard. People, they don't have enough data or analysis just yet. How many T1s, how many T2s? How many had uncontrolled numbers? If you are T2, you should be working hard to get your numbers down, we can help with that.

    General observations

Well, the pink moon is nice to look at, it's not pink. I am not taying up to 3.15am to see it at it's best. .There is a lovely lack of con trails in the sky. Birdsong has subsided at night as they can be heard during daylight hours. There is a gentle backgroung hum of traffic which is not...

Finn is my avatar, he is the one on the right. A year old today, Gotcha day is 19th March. If I had got my myasthenia diagnosis before we picked them up, we would have probably backed out. I am glad we didn't. They are a handful. When they have their fit of the zoomies, my head is in my...

    Discharged by DSN

My DSN has says I am managing so well she doesn't think she needs to see me, although her door is always open. Reducing the steroids am now down to 13mg heading towards 10mg. Reducing the humulin, started at 22, now 13. Most days don't need the novorapid. Steroids are weird. A day or so...

    Pork Panko

Anyone tried this? I found it in an American recipe and assumed it was a typo. I do find it tedious blitzing pork rinds. Mine doesn't seem to do it very well.
