Was diagnosed is Jan 19 with an hba1c of 95 in April It was 50. In August it was 46 and now, December it is 43 :D I am over the moon to say the least, though I've now decided to stop testing so often, as I still test 6 times a day and I'm still seeing 6-7s which annoys me but I'm obviously doing...

I only lost a bit of weight for the first 2 weeks then it plateaued and I've been 74kg ever since. It didn't bother me at first as like I say I'm not particularly...

Well, I have my latest HbA1c results back...

... and it's 50! Down from 95 in Jan 19, on diagnosis. Diet only! Feel a bit disappointed tbh cos I've tried so hard with the Lchf way of eating, but I have had DP from time to time and liver dumps which I've tried to combat. My cholesterol etc is all OK so that's something at least Anyway...

I'm finding my levels peak at the 3 hour mark...

Not the 2 hour mark! I know 2 hours is just a guideline At my evening meal, which usually has more carbs Ive now started testing 2 hours after first bite then at 3 hours after first bite to see when my levels peak, and more often than not its at 3 hours. Not sure why this is, I mostly have a...

How can I stop dawn phenomenon?

For the first couple of weeks I didn't get DP and was doing great but now I get it most days and it makes my levels higher, sometimes all day! I went to...

Can anyone help shed some light on what's happening please!l?

My levels are getting me down. I was diagnosed 2 months today and my levels have risen over the past 2 weeks from 5-6s to 6-7s but today my fbg was 8.1 so I assume I've had a DP? As it was 7.2 on going to bed. I'm trying so hard to be LCHF and I have since the day I was diagnosed. I had a Hba1c...

Feeling a bit down about my levels!

Looking for a bit of reassurance I think as got no one to talk to really even though my family try and be supportive. I just feel they don't fully understand. Work stress has sent my bg levels up [emoji53]

It's now 6 weeks since I was diagnosed with type 2 and I've been trying so hard to be Lchf and I was starting to see levels 5/6s even the odd 4 but for the past few days I've seen a rise in bg mostly 6/7s which I believe is due to work stress and its so disheartening as I was doing so well! I'm confused and at a loss...

I've had pork chop for tea cooked in olive oil, steamed savoy cabbage and 6 x Brussels and gravy which is 2.6g carbs per 100ml. My level before tea was 5.7 but after tea I got 7.7 2 hours after first bite which I thought was a bit high considering its not a very carby meal. So I tested again and...

Need advice please as I'm a little confused!

I test before meals and 1-2 hours after the first bite. Some meals peak within 1 hour and some peak at 2 hours. Is it the 2 hour test that's the most important to see if levels are coming back down, or to make sure levels haven't gone up 2mmol? What if after 1 hour my levels have gone over 2mmol...
