    Riding The Emotional Roller Coaster!

Thanks. I've never tried the Samaritans. I have used a local charity support line which has been helpful when things have been bad. I do think voluntary work would be good for me. A chance to meet new people and to do something for me. More often than not boredom sees me turn to food which then...

    Riding The Emotional Roller Coaster!

I did once have an assessment by social services for being a carer. They were referring me to the support group but I never heard anything. I've been a carer since I was a teenager, so it's always been part of my life.

Dapaglifloxin - anyone had any experience with this?

I didn't really take notice of the numbers. Naughty me. I've just purchased a BP monitor from Amazon that's coming tomorrow so will start testing myself at home. [emoji2]

    LADA?

Thank you both for your replies. Anyone recommend a lab where I could get the tests done privately?

    LADA?

I was diagnosed with T2 in 2005 in my late 20's. Fasting glucose was high so took a Glucose Tolerance Test which confirmed diagnosis. Prior to diagnosis I was 'obese' and exercise was lacking. I also was diagnosed with PCOS the same year. From what I can recall I would often feel tired, light...

    Type 2 8 Week 800 Diet

I couldn't do it. I love food to much and when bored food is my go to especially when watching TV! I'd probably die on an 800 calorie diet! [emoji23]

Type 2s: What have you eaten today?

Been feeling rough today, light headed, nauseous... Think the withdrawals of sugar is taking affect. Had blood pressure checked was fine. Scrambled eggs for breakfast with warmed cherry tomatoes. Lunch a breakfast from Sainsbury's, minus the toast and hash brown. A small bowl of cherry...

Type 2s: What have you eaten today?

So this is my first real day at going low carb. Coffee for breakfast, black. Lunch was 3 slices of bacon, scrambled eggs, half a tin of tomatoes. Coffee with cream mid afternoon. Dinner omelette with cheese and pulled ham. Cherry tomatoes, peppers and rocket. Followed by a few blueberries...

Dapaglifloxin - anyone had any experience with this?

I was hoping to start amitriptyline recently to solve my sleep and nerve issues but was refused it for varying reasons. I've actually had a almost normal BS reading after my evening meal. Two hours after a nice low carb meal and 9.2 [emoji2] ok so still high-ish but single figures! I'm ditching...

Dapaglifloxin - anyone had any experience with this?

I don't intend to buy anymore. Actually notice I have started to feel nauseous and light headed. Unusual for me to feel unwell. Just tested BS before I head to bed 11.2 come down in an hour from 15 something. Depending what it is when I wake in the morning I might ditch the Metformin...

    Riding The Emotional Roller Coaster!

I've had private care 10 years ago in the UK it was fantastic but I can't afford it now. I've read my mental health notes and the things written in them that are incorrect is unbelievable but I don't have the energy to get it corrected! Once I had a good therapist and psychiatric nurse but then...
