Not a clue what I'm doing!

Be very careful with anything low fat, usually full of sugar which is the last thing you need. I could rant about this for ages - especially the so called healthy low fat yoghurts!!!!

Todays Visit to DN for Hba1C

Hba1C down from 122 at diagnosis to 79 - this i am pleased about. Sitagliptin added to the 4 * 500mg Met i'm taking daily - not a problem. Simvastatin added - even though my chloresterol isn't bad, not sure about this - too many horror stories about side effects - any ideas?

The stem ginger ones, however nice they are, are much higher in sugar than the normal oatcakes. I use morrisons own brand (cos i'm tight)

    Tight foreskin!

Been there too, led to my diagnosis as a type 2. I got treated with steroid cream for a while (daktacort), but once started on Metforin and getting bloods under control, it's all gone, no mutilation, no more split foreskin, it's all good with the old fella at the moment.
