    Carob Bean seed flour

    Slimy could be similar to what happens if you use too much xanthan gum or psyllium flour for thickeners.. Carob powder is also used as replacement for chocolate. I doubt I would bake with it, just because I already use coconut and almond flour.

    Ketone Meter as Insulin Indicator?

    Hmm. I'm in nutritional ketosis, but ketones are lowest when fasted at 0.5 - 0.9. In the later part if the day, 4 - 5 hours after a meal (as opposed to 12 - 16 hours in the previous case), ketones are 1.4 - 3.0. It seems like insulin would be inversely correlated with ketones, doesn't it?

    Red wine question

    Don't have a CGM, would like one, red wine does not seem to have any downside BG wise for me, it lowers my BG quickly and although it does climb back over time there does ot seem to be a spike for me.

    Nice to see someone get your glowing results without meds and not have to go keto or LCHF as you get almost 50% from carbs and 150g to 200g carbs daily. Exercise plays a big role and your low IR. So many need to go keto or very low carb to see your results and even then they cant get your level...
