    Forgot to take Basal

I’m a plonker and I forgot to take my basal last night and didn’t realise until I woke up this morning. I usually take 24 units of abasaglar before sleeping but didn’t last night. Any advice? :)

    Spikes after meals

Hello everyone I’m noticing that I’m getting spikes after meals. It seems more noticeable now that I’m using the libre than when I was just finger pricking, it’s definitely because of the graphs! How do people manage/prevent significant spikes after meals? Thank you!

Hello everyone I’ve just had my HbA1c back and was really happy it’s 49 as it’s a significant improvement from when I first found out about diagnosis. But that isn’t the point of this post! My colleague was telling me that I should apply for PIP being type 1 as it impacts on my daily living...

    Hypo? (Newbie type 1)

Sorry if this is a silly question! At what level should you treat low blood sugar? I’ve not been feeling right today and my blood sugars have been dropping with the last reading being 4.5, do I treat this? [emoji33]

    Newbie diagnosis - bit overwhelmed

Hello everyone, So it’s been a bit of a journey already to be honest. In 2017 I was told I was type 2 but remained so unwell with different symptoms that I kept going back to the GP and being told that I needed to have better control... I moved to another county in January 2019 and registered...
