I usually swap my carb for the sweets i take. for example. i take half of my bowl of rice if im gonna eat a slice of chocolate cake.

I can. But some people cant. They rely 100% to the gadget. That is dangerous i think, because the tools sometimes makes mistakes. i have an experience when my blood sugar is high, but the blood test show low blood sugar. High blood sugar symptom = feel like running, jumping, cannot sleep...
