    Strong question- what do you think caused your diabetes (type 1)

    I personally go back and forth with this . I have nobody in my family who are diabetics other than type 2 . I was a very active , healthy kid when I was young, I would just like peoples open opinions on how they feel on why/how they got diabetes.

    Spiking after breakfast

    Has anyone had similar experience and how did you resolve? I am finding my blood sugars are spiking after breakfast . In particular after eating porridge and fruit. It is all measured and I pre bolus etc but I just can not wonder why else it is still going high!

    Was curious to see how long people have had diabetes for more so type 1 , am 26 and have had type once for 11 years . Does it get easier the older you get , any complications even with good control? Just curious to see peoples take on living with the condition !

    Has anyone been told they have slightly high cholesterol and due to how long you have had diabetes for the doctors want you to start taking tablets for this? I am 26 years old and just concerned.
