I was put on metformin in january.i was fine till last week i have my metformin then my meal 3 hours later i have bad cramps then im of the toilet with the runs.help.

I was told i had type 2 diabetes in january and now takeing metformin.why havent i been given a monitor or do i buy my own i feel cheeky asking my nurse.

I have got a tummy bug,iv been on metformin 3 months i need to starve myself do i still take my tablets.
