    Type 2 SGLT2 Inhibitors

    I am after some information about SGLT2 Inhibitors. My son, 20, has been a type 2 for 8 years and been on Metformin SR and Lantus solostar. They have offered to try SGLT2 inhibitors or Glitazones but I don't know much about either of these or the long term effects and side effects.. Thank you Jil

    Type 2 at 15?

    Hello, My son was told yesterday that he has diabetes. Type 2. It is not a complete shock as he has been on metformin since he was 5, however I have been left feeling a little inadequate with knowledge and what to do next. Does anyone have any thoughts please. Jillyp12
