Feels like hypo if drop below 9

Are your sugar levels high in general? I had a period when my BMs would be high for weeks on end and I would have felt hypo at 9. It could be that you need to increase your insulin to bring your overall BM down and that will solve your problem Sent from the Diabetes Forum App

    Which is easier?

Just to buck the trend, younger. I was diagnosed at about 14. I think that being diagnosed earlier would integrate into my life a lot better as I would have "always" have had diabetes. The older you are the more already set routines etc you have. (Would have preferred never to be diagnosed...

    Snack before bedtime ?????

Hooked, I agree. I think my problem was that I did not word my response properly. I dip in the morning (about 4am) (have tried changing insulin dose to fix this however any more I hypo, any less I hyper) then dawn phenomena causes BG to rise. If I do eat the original dip doesn't occur and dawn...

    Snack before bedtime ?????

That's true. The dawn phenomena causes a dip in morning BG levels (and if you don't eat) a rebound hyperglycaemia. If you do eat you can avoid the original dip and not have a hypo. However as has been pointed out here and elsewhere it all depends on your diabetes Sent from the Diabetes Forum App

    Hungry

Anyone feel constantly hungry. I eat absolutely loads of carbs, meat vegetables and fruit but never feel like I've had enough. Anyone have anything that really fills them up (also ideally won't affect BM very much)? Sent from the Diabetes Forum App
