Really was great, we have 6wk, then 3month and 6month checks done in our group then all appts after done in groups, not necessarily same group but other pump users. Diabetone

They sell them in shop I work, we are not allowed to suggest anything for diabetes to help ect as it's a red flag condition in my store. I do however believe that they have no effect on blood sugar levels, where as some other multi vits can raise the bg level. Sent from the Diabetes Forum App

    *Morning Hypos*

Have you thought about speaking to your DN, just so he/she is aware that your changing your insulin dose, they may put you on a cgm machine to get better idea of what your sugars are doin, as I can't imagine at 17 with having diabetes only 9 months my nurse would of been pleases I was altering...

    scared

40 units of novo rapid 2/3 times a day is a lot, I'm not surprised your over eating, you covering the insulin with food rather than food with insulin. Dafne would be great for you but if your able give your DN nurse a phone and ask for help! We've all done it!! He/she should be able to get you...

I bet after only a few weeks of tough regime with meals, tests and a bit of 'diabetes focus time' you'll see the difference in your sugars! Baby steps at first and the food diary sound a fab idea. Is your insulin requirement high?! Insulin makes yo hungry, I bet with lowering carb intake your...
