hi i'm new and don't really know what to do

Hi Janice, Sorry to hear that you are not to go on the new tablet, but at least you can still work on your food. It was only after coming to this site that I realised that carbs were something I should have been curtailing. I have tried most diets but could never sustain them. From what...

Type 2 Quick one (So to speak)

Most of the knowledge I have has come from this site. When I was diagnosed 17 years ago, I was put straight onto Metformin handed a couple of leaflets and told I could most likely go blind. I was later taken off the Metformin and put on Gliclazide, and told that 4 and under was a hypo, if and...

Okay guys & gals, With the understanding that I might come across as a numpty :bag::confused: When I am counting carbs, I know I need to look at the total carbs value, so do I need to be paying attention to the sugars values too????????? I think its all this talk about Aldi's chocolate...

    Tesco and DUK

I think we should be thanking Semiphonic and his friend for being willing to help us. I for one, do use Tesco's and would be worse off without their deliveries. So thanks a lot guys.:)

How did you feel about switching onto injections?

That is not so Samantha. My brother was diagnosed T2 when he was 58, put onto insulin the following year, only on it for 2 years and is now back on tablets. His control is fantastic, so there is light at the end of the tunnel :D

    Stinky flaxseed

I have just placed an order for delivery by Tesco and noticed that the mixed seeds (inc golden linseed) once opened needs to be used within 7 days so maybe it does go off. Seems silly because linseed is also fed to my birds and it keeps for many months. Can I ask, does it have to be milled, or...
