    How is your company allowed to make up it's own at risk categories when there is government publications showing the at risk groups. That sounds dangerous for you and any patient that your treating.

    I for a 640g and it came with the meter that connects to the pump. Also speak to your Dr about the lancets, I did and am still getting them even when they stopped me getting the cassettes for the mobile meter.

    Story off my life. Type 1 30 years next month. I knew better than the Drs while I was at secondary school, college and uni. Know can't feel my hands wish I couldn't feel my feet and legs. Had multiple eye surgeries. I just wish I had took control earlier things might not have become so bad so soon.

    You will not feel unwell to start with but as the ketones build up in your system your body will start to shut down. That's why DKA is known as a silent killer. If you went to bed while feeling drowsy (because of the ketones) then there is a high likelihood that you will die in your sleep.

    I have an insulin pump and yeah I do my.best with carb counting even on Christmas. I have enough complications as it without adding even more lol.

    I have been type 1 for nearly 30 years. But my b.s. recently has been a bit high. Yesterday when I woke up I was 21.5 and pretty much stayed there all day. Even with corrections It's a lot better this morning it's only 15.6. Do other people think that I should have went to the hospital?

    Yeah I have small nerve damage to my spine which causes hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating). I find it very embarrassing as if i get hot then I start sweating buckets. I need to change about 4 times a day. Why do you ask?
