This my 4th child due in sept I have history of problamatic pregnancies 1st (age 16) went well, 2nd (age 14) preterm labour 32wks kept in and delivered 38, 3rd (age 7) GD at 28wk GTT, blood trans due to severe anemia, preterm at 24weeks kept in hosp delivered at 32wks. All my children are fit and well now despite few shaky starts. Because my last pregnancy was concerning at times I have been deemed high risk and have 2 consultants and diabetic specialist who 1decided to monitor my blood at 14weeks pregnant. Last week she said my levels rise in eve and was going to place me on insulin but agreed to give me one more week of diet, looks like not doing gtt this time,, they tooks 2 different bloods for analysis and I return on tuesday. Im scared. my fast readings were 4.9, 6.2, 4.3 and 8.3 after meal readings were 9.2, 6.0 and 8.9 what do you think? My dad and other males Iin fam are insulin dependant but only 3 females. I have never done readings with out GD so I dont no wat norm readings look like. Tahanks in advance x
