Hi guys. Not been around here for a while. 2 years ago I caught covid at Portsmouth v Arsenal In November hubby got covid after going to Anfield. I went to Villa Park to see Arsenal win 1-0 on Saturday. Guess what I brought home with me again?
Shocking! It must be the company you keep! I went all over England, certain parts of Wales, and got nothing but disappointed, and a sense of long suffering, due to not being able to win a league title! Getting beaten by no marks like FGR and other Gloucestershire teams! absolutely scandalous! Hope you're recovering well, take care, stay safe! don't pick up any other rustic germs! my best wishes
Away to Colchester! need another result. good luck to all our teams this weekend! it is a well known fact that if you visit anfield, you are bound to come away with nothing but disappointment and covid! (Spanish proverb!)
Get well soon. Hope you haven't got it bad. I Had Covid 5 weeks ago. I didn't have any symptoms though but still tested Positive.
Well, that has put a spanner in the works! Last minute winner, another away defeat! It is gonna cost us! Can't see us getting automatic promotion! Next up.........Carlisle! @Cumberland it should be interesting, maybe not entertaining, but getting to the business end of the season!
Carlisle at home, wonder if it's too cold to travel for @Cumberland? Need three points desperately, but so do the cumbrians and they have turned the corner, so it should be a good game!
I'm on the edge of my seat here. We have the 3 points but can we keep hold of them for another 5 mins plus stoppages.
Oh yes coming back up that M62 with all 3 points in the bag. Phew we needed that. 7 points clear of 7th placed Middlesbrough and QPR. All eyes on tomorrows games now. Our next game is Monday 11th April Home to Luton. What a game that will be. The other teams around us play on Tuesday and Weds. 6 games left for us.
Hibs away this afternoon, could be an interesting game, Hibs unknown quantity at the moment and have issues with a boy getting sent off https://www.skysports.com/football/...r-game-ban-by-sfa-after-red-card-appeal-fails It really was assualt as he was no where near the ball and there was some one inbetween......
All the other results went in our favour today with the exception of Forest who won 4-1. Looking interesting now is the table. 1Fulham38 60 80 2Bournemouth37 29 72 3Huddersfield40 96 6 4Luton39 14 64 5Middlesbrough38 12 62 6Blackburn40 10 62 7Nottm Forest37 21 61 8Sheff Utd39 11 61 9QPR39 45 9
Great result today, 2 games in hand on most teams. Fulham at home on Wednesday, going to be a interesting night.
Well, 2-2 we took the lead, then just before half .time, we had a man sent off. They equalised and with 80minutes on the clock, we took the lead! One .minute into injury time, we had our second player sent off! They again equalise in the 98th minute. Go figure! It did seem that the ref wanted Carlisle to take at least a point! Which now means that we are still hanging onto the last p!ay off place with those just below us with games in hand! With our current from being awful and players injured or suspended, with six games to go, I really can't see us getting even a play off place, I want to be optimistic but, history is not on our side! We have blown it!
