Ok I know its early but the new fixture list will be out on 23rd June. The new season kicks off 1 week early due to the World Cup not kicking off till November. We have 2 friendly fixtures pencilled in already for July. We got Donny on 16th July followed by a trip to Bolton on 23rd July. A few of our players have left the club and gone back to their own clubs., And some others have been released. Dean Hoyle has taken back 100% ownership and has promised Carlos enough money for the season to build what he hopes will be a promotion side. Hopefully we will succeed next year. UTT.

Good luck to you mate!
We have re-signed a former player, a youngster from Brentford and our 40 year old goalkeeper, who will also be our goalkeeper coach as well! We haven't got a full side yet! But it is still early!

There is a feasibility study going ahead for the club to move to a new stadium.
The council has proposed a new multi venue site in a location that was once a dock, next to an old tip which has lain empty since before the millennium. The club is not putting anything towards the study, nor will it be ab!e to pay for the building of the stadium. The only money will come from the sale of the land the current ground is on for housing. But the demolition will cost because of the amount of asbestos throughout the main stand and the roof is totally asbestos.
The scheme has a couple of provisions one being the club playing in the championship??????!
It's a very good proposal despite the problems it will face and give the club a future. Something that it might not have if we don't move or have owners with the financial backing a great club like ours should have.
The club like the government are still blaming covid for everything, when total mismanagement has played a part of our recent poor league positions.
I did have a conversation about a fairly decent youngster that was denied a place in the team because the club wouldn't pay his parent club any more money if he played! Disgraceful!

The togger justify blitzed supporters!

Which means footie owners don't care about the club!

Cheers mate and good luck to Tranmere. Hopefully you'll get a new stadium and hopefully you'll find an investor in the club. Onwards and Upwards mate think positive. In the meantime enjoy the summer.

The 22/23 Championship fixtures will be released by The Football League on Thursday 23rd June 2022 at 9am BST (British Summer Time). When Does The Championship 22/23 Begin And End?

I'm sure we're all looking forward to Thursday and see who we playing when the new season starts.

Here we go the long awaited fixtures and we kick off at Home to Burnley on Friday 29th July. That should be an interesting game. The season then finishes at Home to Reading on 6th May 2023. Lets see how we go this time and hopefully make promotion. UTT

home to Stevenage. A real floor filler not!

We do have a preseason friendly against a certain championship club the week before the start of the season!

Not one of the bookies favourites for even the play offs never mind promotion. We have so far signed one decent player, and a few kids. But let's see what develops!

away to Accy Stanley in the league cup!

pizza cup is not worth mentioning!

footie is back (soon!)

And that's followed by an away tie at Tranmere @Lamont D That will be a good one mate and finally away to Bolton on 23rd and then its on to the big kick off the following week.

And our B team demolished Brighouse town 1-3 yesterday. Well done to the younger ones that may well come in to the first team at some point.

2-2 @ Fleetwoods training ground, typical preseason rubbish plus an early injury scare to one of our better players.

Huddersfield Town can confirm that Carlos Corberán has today resigned from his position as Head Coach.

Oh my goodness that is a shock. :wideyed:

Maybe, just maybe, he has an offer he can't turn down from another club.

How many years did have left on his contract?

Not sure how many years he had left mate. Its a shame he's gone but life goes on and so does football. ( we got over the shock departure of David Wagner and we'll do the same again). There's a lot of negativity as usual in the fans. I prefer to say lets wait and see how this next season goes. As long as we are still a club then I'll still be a supporter. Onwards to Morecambe for our first friendly game. UTT. Meanwhile the B Team take on Stockport tomorrow.

So at last we know why Carlos left us.
he has subsequently come to us over the last 24 hours and made it clear that he doesn’t think he is the man to take us forward.
I simply cannot fathom that out cos he very nearly steered us in to the Prem had that Ref not been bent we would have been there. I think there's more to it than that. Hey ho onwards and upwards. Lets all get behind Danny Scofield and hopefully he'll do wonders for us. Trouble is he needs money from Deano. 3 weeks to the big kick off and no new signings as yet. I think we'll be fielding some reserves.
@Lamont D interesting that when we play you on 23rd(12pm) we also play Bolton so we would have to make a mad dash down the motorway to make it for a 3pm kick off. You best get us a police escort lol. Tranmere to Bolton in an hour is doable just lol.

I think that you will be playing your u23s against us mate. It would take a very clear road to get to Bolton to get there within an hour and you would have to break the speed limit on the motorway!
We only just won yesterday against Warrington, more injuries and a first team squad that looked a lot short on manpower. Still time for more but I am concerned about it.
