5 weeks preggy on oral and injectable insulin

Morning friend.I'm so worried about my pregnancy.I'm 4weeks pregnant having a type 1 diabetes and my gynaecologiest told me its ok to continue taking the metformin xr 500mg twice a day and diamacron 30mg twice a day and also levemir injection 15 units in the morning and 10 units at night.my blood glucose is well controlled presently but I herad the rumours that 1 should not take diamacron when pregnant.please help me.

I'm 19 weeks 2nd pregnancy.
On Metformin 1g twice a day humalog with every meal and then levimir at night although I anticipate that with change to twice a day like it did last time. Im afraid I have never been on Diamicron. Pre conception I saw a high risk obstetrician who reviewed all my drugs to let me know what ones I needed to change. Now I see that high risk obstetrician and a diabetic consultant every 2 weeks who review everything.
I'm sure your gynaecologist is fully aware and informed but you should start seeing the people very soon and very regularly
