Hi I've been on the expert machine for about a week now, but due to my type 1, gastroperisis And other medical issues I find it very hard to eat , so by telling my machine my high blood level and telling it illness and no carbs it tells me how much insulin to give, but today my blood was 14 with illness and a yogurt of 18 carbs it told me to give myself 22 units of insulin, I didn't give that much as I thought it was far to much, can any one advise me of what I did wrong
Many thanks
A confused Jade

Does seem a lot but I don't know what your I:C ratio is or what your Correction Bolus is set to on the meter, if your DSN set-up the meter for you ring them in the morning and explain to them what happened today, might be that there was a mistake made when inputting your data into the meter.

I agree with @noblehead, it sounds like you should ask your DSN to check your meter settings. Well done for not giving yourself too high a dose of insulin. Are your blood sugars still a bit too high?
