It's a bit to soon to have a flu jab here in France as they believe the protection will start to wane before the flu season really starts, we won't start having the jab before October or November
Rolling out the booster vaccine from next month. Normally roll out flu vaccine October onwards. Sure I will get both around October/November.
My wife and I were called for our flu jabs last Saturday. Very slight sore arms for one day. We are due for Covid boosters at the end of October.
My husband and I are scheduled for the flu jab on the 25th. They're only doing under 64s first. The covid booster jab is done in November For me
Yes, I had mine yesterday. I had a doctor's appointment for something else and he offered me it at the same time.
I had the 2021 / 22 Australian fluvax in May to fit in between my two covid vaccinations. No after effects from the fluvax, needle went in smoothly from the experienced nurse at my GP's practise. Got through our Australian winter tome of June - September without as much as a snifffle.
Apparently my surgery are doing a joint flu and covid booster clinic - so you get both at the same time, supposedly starting next week- but I'll have to wait for the text for it, so not sure when it'll actually be - I think the older people will probably be invited first
I have so far not had mine this year. For me it will be a question of who ambushes me first pharmesist or doctor.
I had mine this morning, my surgery are trying to get ahead and ‘do’ all the under 65s ASAP. It was very organised and quick, so far no ill effects whatsoever.
Without a court order it would be illegal to force medication or vaccinations on to anyone, so I guess that means we must welcome it.
