Some studies have suggested a link. However, all the autistic kids I have met have non-D mums and the causes remain unclear.
Hope your child gets the help they need (and family as a whole). If diagnosis is confirmed do not beat yourself up, mum's get the guilt for all sorts.

I’ve never heard of a link before - I have T1 and autism myself, my son has neither.

My mum has neither T1 or autism, should have added that. Looks like I’m a one off ;)
