I take 20 mg of Atorvastatin once a day .i no that it will give me bad joint pain if i eat citrus fruits. but it seems to be getting worse i'm not sure but it seems that now i get pain when eating dark green veg like Kale. I try to eat a healthy diet but its getting to the stage when i sometimes have to take pain killers.

Is this a type of statin...?

I don't take statins but have recently started taking ubiquinol (coQ10 in a more absorbable form for anyone over 30) and noticed consistently when reading about it that it's said to be really important for counteracting statins side effects.

As I said I can't comment specifically as I don't take statins - but maybe google statins and coQ10 and see if you think it might help you.

Report this to your doctor immediately, its a very common side effect of Statins and especially so with diabetics.
