Here is my sunday lunch with my relatives.
A lot of vegetables to eat with the bagna caoda.
Quire interestingly my bg levels afterf didn't rise got a reading of 85 on left hand and 91 on right in mmol/l 4.8 and 5.1 that were in the same range of fasting levels this morning.
It could be a blaring measure error.
But anyway i have tried the cooked cardoon, wS good even if I hate it raw.

Too many veggies and no Black Forrest cake - miserable, even though it's seemingly worked for you!

No cake actually, there was some oranges and chocolate, but I was overfilled with veggies... this evening some salad made with the leftovers...

Ooh! I didn't know what Bagna Caoda was, so I just googled - and it looks delicious!

(for those who don't know either, it is basically a dipping sauce made of butter, garlic and anchovies, served over a heat, which raw veg are then dipped into)
I am salivating!
Really want to try it now.

Yes it sounds good. I love all the ingredients, except for the veggies. Nairns Organic Superseeded Oatcakes would be nice with it! Sorry Brunneria! I couldn't resist! lol

I was just about to google it, you have saved me doing it tonight sounds good. I am making a meal for friends boxing day and it will be on the menu

You should, it is a great way to eat raw veggies
I agree, you can also eat cooked ones.
Two tips:
1. put always some nuts finely minced in the sauce
2. make some vegetal or meat broth to sip after.

runs well with some strong red wine to drink.

Sounds delish - I love all veg and often eat cold cooked veg as a snack or for my supper - will have to give this a go
