Basal rate questions

Hello ! So basically, My basal rate have not been changed for 3 years. Now, I'm turning 18 in 2 months(11 of June), and it means, that there was a lot of hormonal changes in my body(as a female).
I have some questions for you about you.
Can hormons have any effect on how insulin works, especially also having turner's syndrom ?
How to recognize, when basal rate is too high, and it lowers your blood sugar ?
And if I already know, that my basal rate is too high, how many hours, before I see that it lowers my blood sugar about 60 - 70, should I lower it ? 2/3 ?
When do you guys have the highest basal rate ? in the night/morning or evening ?

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Sorry can't help with the medical condition you have and how it will effect your insulin but I'm assuming your on a pump as your talking about basal rates. changes in basal rates should be made 2 hours before you notice a change in bg levels, if you read the following it has some good advice on basal testing:
