More good news, emailed my DN with last weeks bloods and mentioned my HBa1C is now down to 64 which was the max recommended / allowed by the hospital for my operation. So can now ask for re-referral back to hospital to be put on waiting list again.
DN said i can stop Rapid acting as i don't have a lot and keep Basal going (I've just just reduced it to 15 units because of increase in Victoza dose to 1.2, and if blood sugars start creeping up, I could go back on Glizeride. Which is good all round.
Makes life much easier for when I go on holiday in September.
So now will be on 2 x 1000 SR Metofrmin, 15 units long acting insuman and 1.2 Victoza along with my thyroxine and still undecided about statins as cholesterol was 6.3 i stopped taking them for 3 months.
My finger prick tests are better than they were averaging about 8 but i'll never go to 4 or 5.
So considering its a Monday, its not a bad day so far
