    Going through a bad patch!
This mornings fasting level was 10.0, @ 07:30
Went to play Table Tennis, I play hard
    At 10:00 BS was 12.9
Is this type of increase normal?

It's possible, this information page goes some way to explaining it,

This happens to me too. If I exercise in the morning quite often my bs goes up not down. Also happens if I try and fast in the mornings - my fasting bs is usually quite high but comes down once I eat breakfast. If I skip breakfast it just climbs through the morning until plummeting just before lunch.

Many thanks but I must say what a strange disease we share with different problems occurring but for the same type 2!
