blurry vision after laser?

I had some laser treatment a couple of weeks ago now my vision seems blurry - does anyone know if this is a potential consequence. It seems particularly bad first thing in the morning.

Was this Laser Corrective surgery (ie - not for cataracts, etc...)? If it was, I'd get back there and ask 'em to take a look. I had laser surgery 4 years ago and after 2 days my vision was perfect.

It was laser for retinopathy - the peripheral type. Although I am pregnant and this can affect vision in the latter stages as I am giving birth next week I will see after that if it is still blurry if so will go back to the eye hospital. The blurriness has only just come on despite having the laser two and four weeks ago. I have got checked out with ante natal and they have said it can be a symptom in pregnancy.

Yes...I had blurry vision after laser...went back to the hospotal in a panic. They got me to look thrugh a pin hole (ie a very small hole in a bit of card) This seemed to be the test they had to see whether it was just caused by swelling etc in the eyes or more permanaent. Luckily for me things improved with time. Still get blurry visoion if my blood sugar is high though.

Do you remember if it was worse first thing in the morning Sugar?
I got my eyes tested (for my sight prescription) the day after the first laser, I did ask the doctor if it was ok to do it so soon and she said it wouldn't affect it but I am thinking now what if it affected my sight on the test and now the prescription is wrong - I just got new glasses. Although so long as my eyes are ok I'm not too fussed about that (well, £200 wasted but its only money at the end of the day, eyes much more important!) . Hard to know what to do whilst still preggers as that can affect it too - maybe I'll just see if it goes back to normal after the birth. They never said that it could be something to worry about post-laser but I have a follow up appointment in six weeks. Thanks
