High and low sugar levels!
Come back of Xmas hols, flights hot hotels etc. with a bit of a nasty cold (I will refrain from using the word 'flu' and cba to test)
Anyway, it always amazes me just how much extra fiasp I'm needing just to keep me below the tens. Probably x4 (yes 4 times) what I would normally take. Hope this buggers of soon!
BTW, maybe a slightly irresponsible post.
Please do NOT ever take 4x your usual dose. I'm on about cgm monitoring with hourly top ups to keep in-line. By the time I finish the total can amount to 4x more than usual.

4 days now. Still needed 4x my usual bolus this morning, trying to deal with a stubborn spike of 16mmol which took some lowering.
Had 6 hours this afternoon though of very stable bg without any extra insulin. Fingers crossed it may be turning point. Absolute nightmare atm though trying to predict dosage requirements.

I wonder how much influence your bg levels have on the time it takes to shift these viruses?
