breakfast in Italy

I'm just off to Rome for a week, and am wondering what I'm going to do about breakfast. I usually have berries and yoghurt and a bit of granola -- I assume there isn't going to be much chance of getting this in cafes and restaurants. Does anyone have any recommendations? One friends tells me that the usual Italian breakfast is an espresso and a cigarette, but I don't smoke...

Thanks mo -- I'm very keen on the bottled stuff. Trouble is, most fruit (incl. grapes) spikes me, especially in the morning, so I stick to berries..
