hi everyone! Im new to this . Im a type 1 diabetic, was diagnosed in March this year. My question is has anyone had the jordans country crisp strawberry cereal out clusters and if it has affected your sugars?? As im not really a breakfast person, I know its important to eat something so I was going to have that cereal and low fat yoghurt as I don't like milk! Lol! So if anyone has, what do you think?? I have attached a photo too, thanks
Hi. I suspect the Jordans cereal is loaded with sugar? If so it's best avoided. Low fat yoghurt can sometimes also be loaded with sugar. Whatever you have, keep the added sugar down. Although you can increase your insulin, you can suffer weight gain if you go too far. How about eggs and bacon? I also have a little home-made muesli with no added sugar.
