Byetta/Victoza

    I am going to see my doc on Wednesday re: Nurse says i need meds probably Metformin? but i am going to enquire if i can maybe be prescribed either Byetta or Victoza to see if it can help with weight loss?

    This is expensive and you may not get it right away but if you do it certainly should help. You will probably get initial side effects but I found they went away quickly. I cannot have Byetta at moment as going through some tests for other problem but asap I will be back on it. Good luck.

    I dont see why i cant have it as i meet the criteria? but will see what doc says? I've managed to lose a stone by myself so its good will see what happens :p

    Unfortunately that doesn't always mean you will get the injections, Where I live my surgery is the only one in the town which will prescribe it, you will probably have more luck at the hospital. Hope you get it anyway - let us know.
