Im sure I read somewhere that insurance companies cant discriminate against us!! Yet when I enter on go compare

Unnecessary rudeness, and any PC
They probably get around it by claiming the difference is down to the different type of licence held, choosing to ignore the reason that type of licence is held. In the 22 years that I did drive I always told my insurance company about diabetes, to consistently get the response "that makes no difference to our underwriting decision or pricing model". And in every "secret shopper" experiment I conducted, it turned out to be true!
