Celeriac a low carb idea please not cooked it before

I am sure there will be some suggestions for you, it seems to be quite a popular vegetable with forum members.
I will bump your post up for replies.
I don't like the taste but I don't like celery either.

Thankyou. That's kind. I found a dauphiniose recipe. But it looks maybe a bit rich...I was wondering if it made nice soup

I'm with Catherine about the flavour - celeriac, fennel, celery and aniseed. :yuck:

But if you like that kind of thing, I have heard it makes good mash. And sautéed.

Bubble and squeak using celeriac in place of spuds
Mashed celeriac and cauliflower in place of mashed spuds in cottage / shepherds pie or faith cakesfaith cakes

I grate it and put mayo in - like coleslaw. Also mash it, have it in stews & soups, roast it like parsnips, boil it like carrots - I love it.

I have celeriac chips (fried) - they taste more like parsnips than potato though, but fulfil my need! :p
