My wife makes a chilli for the family but it's too mild for me so I add some Encona West Indian Hot Pepper sauce to my portion.Hi all, do any of you have a good chilli recipes but one I can adjust the heat on.
I like a it a bit hot but not too much.Cheers Squeekyboy.
Chilli Sans Carne? We just dice up small .. onion, lots of chestnut mushrooms, small carrot, small parsnip, celery, red peppers & fry them gently in coconut oil .. add paprika, chilli powder, pinch of salt, veg stock-cube & ground up garlic, let this simmer on the heat until the coconut oil has softened the veg .. then add desiccated coconut and a few table spoons of full fat plain yogurt .. leave on a low heat until the veg is soft .. serve with collie flower rice .. If your not low carb then add kidney beans and serve with white rice .. If the yogurt splits then add a tea spoon of cornflour mixed with cold water into the chilli .. it will bring it back to being a good looking sauce
But you may want to be vegetarian to really enjoy this LOL
Just had to look that up ... this is our own creation ..Chilli Sans Carne?
