was given this recipe and bloody hell its gawjus

10 pitted dates
2 tsp dark chocolate powder as close to 100% as you can get (I found green and blacks)
small pack macademia nuts

mix everything together in a whizzer and put into a glass dish and refridgerate

OMG keep it away from yourself as long as possible cos once you start eating that is it

I doubled the mix and put in a couple of tablespoons of hemp....really nutty

My mother who has more patience than me rolled them up and then coated them in dessicated coconut

Like the sound of that, I'd probably use mixed nuts though, I find macadamias too much on their own.

Hi Cavelioness, :)

You are very naughty for giving this recipe to people that cannot resist such a chocy treat.
There is no way on earth I am going to try your "gawjus" things today. ( no dates )

But tomorrow is a definite date with macadamia nuts, choc powder and your mums coconut idea.
my wife and daughter will love them, if there's any left that is.

Roy :)

I use macadamia due to the fact of the carb content mixed nuts or maybe toasted almonds crushed would work just as well
