For most folks doing LCHF their lipid profiles improve quite a bit, but it can take a little time to turn this around. I don't have a link to the research to hand, but there is evidence to suggest that for some people their first set of bloods, post starting low carb, their profiles appear to deteriorate, the subsequently improve. In particular, the triglycerides tend to improve dramatically, when carbs are reduced.
My lipid totals have always been high, but my breakdowns have gone from (in my view) poor to so, so much better. At one stage my GP wanted to refer me to a lipid specialist, but doesn't feel the need any more and now recognises how good my numbers are.
I don't know what reading or viewing you have done on lipids, but I found the Professor Sikaris YouTube video to be extremely encouraging and informative.

If you just type his name into the YouTube search bar you will find lots of fascinating information on low carb, and lipids.
Keep the faith.
