This spice has been proved to help in weight loss by stabilising blood sugar levels and increase insulin sensitivity. Is it safe for T1s to take? What effect will it have ?

Re: Cinnamon

I use it all the time in things like almond flour waffles and almond flour based cakes , mainly for flavoring. When first diagnosed I was putting it in my tea , didn't really have any effect on my blood sugars i.e. stabilizing/lowering effect. For me , a type 1, it is safe to use but everyone is different.
