Control solution....

Being me, I have put the instructions for my meter somewhere safe.... So safe I havn't a clue.

I have had a couple of readings that don't make sense over the past few days, so was wondering if I should be using control solution, and if so what on earth I do with it.

The only other thing I can think of is I may have had some water on my fingers. Would that have caused a strange low? Strips are not cheap so I don't want to keep repeating the test.

As always, thanks in advance.

Any contamination on your fingers will give an erroneous reading from the test strip .. if you can, always wash your hands in warm water and thoroughly dry them before testing.

To be sure of using your particular control solution correctly, Google search for a download of the instructions and follow them.
