I was reading on another diabetic sight today that when you are counting the carbs in what your eating you don't have to count the fibre because it doesn't turn to sugar. Can anyone tell me if that is correct.
This was an American sight I think.
I believe in the UK its already split for you. So when you see Carbs on a packet that is what the americans call net carbs, with the fibre stated further down the list.
